Shabbona United Church of Christ Preschool
Shabbona United Church of Christ Preschool is a mission of the Shabbona United Church of Christ. Our purpose is for children and families to come to "love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind" and to "love your neighbor as yourself" [Matthew 22: 37, 39].

The emphasis of our Bible-based curriculum is on fostering Christian beliefs, values and attitudes through experiences that nurture the development of the total child spiritually, socially, emotionally and physically. The program provides for creative and hands-on activities that enrich children's understanding of the world around them. The children also enjoy a weekly chapel and music time with our Shabbona United Church of Christ ministry staff.

We are licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Human Services to serve a maximum of 36 children ages 3-6. We maintain a 1/9 staff to child ratio.

ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS:

Children must be 3 and toilet trained by the date of entry.
Child and parent attend a pre-enrollment parent interview/child visit.
Completed admission forms, payment of $125 non-refundable registration fee, and a current Form 14 D.O.E. Student Health Record must be turned in prior to the first day of attendance.

PROGRAM OPERATION: Modified, year-round, beginning in August

PROGRAM HOURS: 7 A.M. - 5 P.M. (Children arrive between 7 - 8:30 a.m.) Monday - Friday, except holidays as indicated on our school calendar.

PICK-UP SCHEDULES/FEES:
by 3 p.m. $400/month
by 5 p.m. $440/month

MEALS: Mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks are provided. Children bring home lunch.

OPTIONAL FOR ADDITIONAL FEE: Gymagery twice a month with Rona Smith.
