HALLOWEEN PARTY: TRUNK, TRUCK, OR TREAT!
The community is invited to attend our Halloween Party and visit our 'Haunted House' on Monday, October 31st, 2011 from 4-7 PM in the Church Parking Lot located at 104 E Navaho in Shabbona, Illinois. You are welcome to come and stay for as little or as long as you like. This Halloween Party is intended to provide a safe and fun... addition or alternative to typical house-to-house 'trick or treating.' Friends and members of our Church will be decorating their Trucks and/or Car Trunks in the Halloween 'Spirit' filled with 'goodies' of all kinds. Hot chocolate and apple cider will be on hand to take the edge off the cool night air.
VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! In addition, the YOUTH OF THE CHURCH are sponsoring an AGE APPROPRIATE 'HAUNTED HOUSE.' The level of 'scariness' will be adjusted based on age! Come and have fun with us! Some years ago our youth ministers put together a haunted house that was just shy of something 'Steven Spielberg' could do in Hollywood! Don't miss out on this time to be with family and friends!
